The Yale Child Study Center–Scholastic Collaborative for Child & Family resilience was developed from a shared commitment to exploring how literacy can strengthen and enrich children and families. The purpose of this logo is to demonstrate the partnership and mission between Yale Child Study Center and Scholastic.
About the logo
This symbol was inspired by the natural world and sense of community. It can be interpreted as a thumbprint—the ability to leave a mark on the lives of children, unique to every single child and undeniable. The spiral also hearkens back to the rings of a tree symbolizing the layers of family, community, and social-emotional support to help a child grow to their fullest potential
